"Who Else Wants to Discover How Metal Detecting Can Uncover Priceless Treasure In 7 Days Or Less?"
I know you are going to say that these pictures are just not true! However you can look up the web metal detector treasures pictures. and you will find the full details of each find.
Metal detecting on local beaches is one of the most popular hobbies among the folks that live near the coast. It’s not unusual to see at least one person metal detecting as you’re enjoying your sand and sun.
So many people have the misfortune of loosing something when they go to the beach, and it’s the metal detectorists who reap the rewards.
Unfortunately, with the hobby growing so quickly, metal detecting on the beach has become more and more competitive. But there are still several things that you can do in order to come home with more than just trash in your pockets.
Think about where the untapped resource of the beach is. Obviously where there are more people congregating, you’re bound to find lost treasures. But what part of the beach is visited by people, and is not as popular with other metal detectorists?
Most likely, there is another less popular beach a short way away. The areas of the beaches without lifeguards are not visited by people who want to go in the water, but are still frequented by fishermen, joggers, dog walkers, surfers, etc.
The best time to go metal detecting at the beach is on Friday or Sunday night. Most people, including those who metal detect, are working during the week. So, if you wait to go metal detecting until the very end of the week, you can score treasures left by those visiting Monday through Friday before the other metal detectorists are out on Saturday morning. Or, try your luck on Sunday nights after a busy weekend.
When you’re metal detecting in a busy spot like a beach, you’re going to find trash. But don’t waste time deciding what you think might be worthless. Dig up everything. It’s not going to be the fancy detector with its huge coil that scores this summer, it’s going to be you and how fast you can recover your targets.
Put simply, the more targets you recover, the better your chances of finding something valuable. Plus, you might find that when you get home and are looking through your finds, that the thing that you thought was junk is actually something amazing.
Metal detecting on the beach is one of the best ways to find amazing treasures such as lost jewellery and change. Just remember to slow down and take your time. Don’t try to cover the whole beach in one hunt. Go slow and take your time going over the area.
And don’t forget to fill your holes when you’re done digging. People walking or jogging along the beach rarely look where they're going. Part of metal detecting is being courteous to others in your hunts. Plus, don’t worry about your coil height.
If you’re keeping it too far off the ground because you’re afraid to scratch it, height might be the reason why you’re not finding much. The closer you can keep the metal detector to the ground, the better its chance to find those lost treasures.
